marching The Pipe Bands SA May Mini Band & Solo Competitions will be held on Sunday 23th May 2010.

MINI BANDS:

Location: Adelaide High School, West Terrace, Adelaide.

Commencement:11 AM.

Grade 4 Entry Requirements:

Grade 2 Entry Requirements:

SOLO REQUIREMENTS:

Commencement:Upon completion of the Mini Band Competition.

Solo Entry Requirements (Piping):

Elementary: 2 x Simple Time Tunes
Sub-Intermediate: 1 x 6/8 March
Intermediate: 2 x 2/4 Marches
Open: Air (2 parts) into 6/8 March (4 parts) and 2/4 March (4 part minimum) twice through

Solo Entry Requirements (Drumming):

Elementary: 4 parts simple time march (2/4,3/4, 4/4) (2x2 part tunes acceptable)
Sub-Intermediate: 4 parts, compound time march (6/8,9/8,12/8)
Intermediate: hornpipe into jig (minimum 4 parts each)
Open: MSR (minimum 4 parts each)
